There was a small Palestinian protest going on in the old part of Vienna whilst I was there. It was about, ooh, twenty metres from a massive holocaust memorial, and I think on top of the ruins of a synagogue that had been burnt to the ground in the 16th Century in a fit of medieval anti-semitism.
I cannot decide if it was a brilliant piece of locative irony, or just disrespectful. My head hurts, basically.
